There were a few problems Sylas was facing now. He liked to organize them in his mind so he could prioritize some. At this point, he knew all too well that he was just a single person, and there was only so much that he could do on his own.

But that didn’t mean he wouldn’t try. Such limitations weren’t things that he thought about much, even if he was aware of their existence.

The first problem was Earth. The good news was that the gathering had taken less time than he thought it would, so he had managed to return before the Summoning was completed. There were just less than two months now before it was finished. At that point, the last bits of Earth’s protection would be gone.

The second problem was the death of a certain daughter to a Seeing Thorn Matriarch, and how the fallout of that death might very well bring problems with the Leava Clan, considering one of their best had also fallen.

The third problem was Starrell. Sylas still didn’t have a full understanding of who she was and what harming her had meant. He hadn’t exactly had a choice back then, but the fact that none of the fearmongering or fanfare related to her had seemed to cause anything could either be a good thing or very troubling.

More than likely the latter.

As far as Sylas could see it, it was most likely that Starrell’s people were so used to their own remaining untouched that they had no immediate contingencies for when it did happen.

For a Race to grow too complacent in a world as cruel as this one… it could only mean that their power was unfathomable, likely more unfathomable than the Analei, more unfathomable than the Weaver Guild-a level of prestige that was likely even beyond the Demi-God Thryskai.

Maybe news would be slow to reach them, but once it did… whatever punishment they chose to give would be all the heavier.

It would be a reminder-a reminder of why it had been so long since the last time anyone had ever done such a thing.

The fourth problem was mentioned as an offshoot of this one. The Analei. Or, more accurately, specifically one of them: Leia, and how she would choose to deal with him once she finally came around.

The fifth problem was the one he was right in the midst of at this moment, and that was the fallout of the gathering, in addition to how The Sanctum and its other branches would react.

Would the 002 Sanctum be just fine with Robareda’s death? What of the 001 Sanctum and Amende’s? How many other branches had he offended that he couldn’t bother to assign a number to?

With all that said, there were still so many other problems it was hard to decide if they needed to be prioritized properly at all right now.

There was the matter with the Veil Humans he hadn’t quite dealt with. For all he knew, they could find him any moment now and get revenge for the two brothers he had killed before entering the Champion Dungeon.

There was the drama of the Golden Grove and the other layers of their Dungeon he had yet to step into. Time would only tell if the plans he had laid out before would actually work out or not.

As if all that wasn’t enough, Sylas hadn’t forgotten that he had a woman with a metallic cock waiting in his flying vessel right now. The matters with the Professors hadn’t been fully resolved just yet either; neither had the Demons trying to infiltrate Earth, though Sylas was pretty sure Moose could handle it.

However, not too long ago, relying on others had almost lost him the war. Of course, that wasn’t entirely Nosphaleen’s fault, but it only affirmed to Sylas that the only person who could possibly deal with everything was himself.

It seemed that the more time he spent in this world, the more people he offended, and the more trouble fell right into his lap.

Even with his thinking speed and intelligence, it took him longer than he cared to admit to fully parse out the details of every bit of trouble he had gotten himself into since he saw that system notification.

Sometimes Sylas couldn’t help but think to himself whether he would have clicked [Yes] without the push of his grandfather.

And every time, his answer was the same.

A dangerous light flashed in Sylas’ eyes.

This pressure, this mountain weighing heavily on his shoulders, this feeling of an enemy being around every corner he slowly walked toward…

He loved it with every fiber of his being.

Thinking about his former life, the boring monotony of it all…

In that case, there was only one way forward right now.

Before Earth entered the wider world, he had to make it to E-tier.

And if he was going to set such a goal for himself, there was only one way to do that.

He had to clear both of his Legendary Gene Class Quests in less than two months.

In fact, he was going to go one step further than that.

Reaper Sealwright was too valuable to be sitting at Level 1. Not only did he want to progress it to Level 50, he wanted to trigger his progression Quest to the E-tier for it as well, if he could manage it.

Figuring out how to clear his Chaotic Sovereign Class Quest was all too easy. He already knew exactly where to find a Demon City to deal with. While others might find that to be the more difficult Quest, he didn’t believe so. Though, effectively, the danger to his life would be just the same.

What was more difficult for him was finding a Cryst Emperor, and there was only one person he could ask such a thing if he wasn’t going to ask his Virtue Madness Key.
