Even if his heart was destroyed, it didn’t affect him. His life was not replying to his heart. Even if he was to pull his own heart out, he would have still lived. So he wasn’t scared of the ability.

Karyk felt a subtle pressure that seemed to emanate from Nysa who slowed down. Nysa let Karyk experience that his life was in her hands.

“Are you sure you don’t want to change your words? Am I truly weaker than your father?” she asked, as her feet came to a sudden halt when she stopped next to Karyk.

At that exact moment, Karyk’s heart also stopped beating. The woman was prepared to step forward after letting Karyk experience the fear of death. She didn’t really want to harm him.

“That is correct,” Karyk answered Nysa, whose right foot was still in the air, about to land.

“Hmm?” For the first time, the woman’s expressions slightly fluctuated. She looked at his chest, and she could see that his heart was truly not beating. Despite that, the boy still looked perfectly fine.
